Description

 Piling Supervisor oversees daily site operations for deep foundation projects, including bored, driven, and concrete piling, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering specifications. Key duties include managing crews and machinery, enforcing HSE standards, interpreting technical drawings, and producing daily progress reports. 

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Manage piling activities (e.g., bored/driven piles, secant walls, pile caps) to meet project schedules and engineering standards.


• Safety Enforcement: Implement strict HSE protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain a 100% safe working environment for the crew.


• Quality Control: Ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and project specifications.


• Resource Management: Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, and material deliveries to ensure efficient, uninterrupted work flow.


• Reporting: Document daily site progress, piling logs, and material usage.


• Technical Coordination: Liaise with surveyors, geotechnical engineers, and project managers to resolve site issues. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Piling Supervisor or Foreman (often 7+ years) in foundation works.


• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading structural drawings, understanding soil conditions, and knowledge of piling rigs and techniques.


• Leadership: Strong team management, coordination, and communication skills.


• Safety Certification: Relevant health and safety training (e.g., OSHA or equivalent).
