Description

Piling Manager (or Piling Project Manager) leads all on-site piling and deep foundation operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Key responsibilities include managing site teams and subcontractors, preparing Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS), maintaining quality standards (QA/ITPs), and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee piling activities (e.g., bored, CFA, sheet piles) from start to completion.


• Safety Leadership: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental regulations to ensure a zero-harm site.


• Project Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources (labour, plant, materials) to maximize profitability.


• Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors; maintain accurate site records, and submit progress reports.


• Quality Control: Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, technical plans, and specifications.


• Technical Guidance: Troubleshoot site issues related to construction methods, soil conditions, or machinery. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or relevant technical experience.


• Experience: 8–10+ years in piling/deep foundations, with significant project management experience.


• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of piling techniques, soil mechanics, and heavy machinery.


• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and proficiency in project management software. 

Common Qualifications

• Experience with Bored / CFA piling.

Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
