Description

Responsible for delivering consistently high-quality cleaning, sanitation within kitchen and service areas and keeping equipment in orderly manner and in workable condition. It requires attention to detail and multi-tasking for maintaining equipment in workable condition and maintaining high level of hygiene practice within kitchen and service area. The staff should be reliable, calm and courteous. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Ensure proper general cleaning through sweeping, mopping, bin emptying, washing

  • Ensure all utensils and equipment’s are in working condition and in their correct place.

  • Washing, wiping, sorting and stacking all dish ware in orderly and safe manner.

  • Report all maintenance issue to the senior or manager.

  • Remove any breakages and cracked/chipped item form central circulation, giving timely update for the replacement

  • Ensure adequacy of hygiene supplies in the Kitchen and service area.

  • Always ensure that kitchen is well maintained, organized and clean.

  • Put effort in optimizing the deep cleaning routine.

  • Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.

  • Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information

  • Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships and friendly cooperation.

  • To maintain a high standard of hygiene and grooming (uniform, name badge, hair, nails, wearing of jewelry and make-up etc.) as per Outlet policy.

  • Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled

  • Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled

  • Checking all chemical par stock and inventory

  • Maintaining inventory for all crockeries, cutleries, glassware and kitchen utensils & equipment.

  • .Proper waste disposal as per the Outlet policy and guidelines

  • Proficiency & knowledgeable in operating kitchen equipment.

  • Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same

  • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures

  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly

  • Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with Outlet requirements

  • Recycles where-ever possible and enforces cost saving measure.

  • To follow Outlet timekeeping procedures, has to be present 15 minutes before scheduled starting time, on request work split shift, work any days including weekends and public holidays and do overtime as requested in accordance with HR policies.


REQUIRED EDUCATION



  • High school diploma or equivalent or Hotel Management


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 



  • Hotel/Restaurant Background.


LANGUAGE SKILLS



  • English - Preferred
